Golf Club Puurs Breendonk

9 holes
Scheldt Region

Just past sports hall De Vrijhals and climbing centre Klimax in Breendonk you will find Golf Club Puurs Breendonk. A short, fun, 9-hole course and a spacious indoor driving range are the ideal place to learn how to play or to practise your technique.

The course was laid out in a natural landscape between trees, copses and maize fields. Narrow passages and two water features make the holes technically challenging.

The driving range has two floors and is covered and illuminated, so that you can train at night and in all weather conditions. Throughout the year the club organizes an open house where you can try golf for free.

In the clubhouse with brasserie Bistro 31 you can enjoy a snack and drink in an informal atmosphere. Make sure you taste a Duvel, matured in the Moortgat brewery just around the corner.

With the additional sports facilities including tennis, football, basketball and beach volleyball and a large climbing hall nearby, Golf Club Puurs Breendonk is the place to be for sports enthusiasts!

Visit

Golf Club Puurs Breendonk is situated in the Klein-Brabant region in the Scheldt Region. The landscape is characterized by the Scheldt which winds its way between green banks, mudflats and marshes, and picturesque villages such as Mariekerke, famous for its eel gastronomy.

The fairytale castle of Marnix de Sainte-Aldegonde, the stately Château d'Ursel with French garden and hunting lodge De Notelaer, the Weert regional museum De Zilverreiger, the Emile Verhaeren Museum, Fort Breendonk and Fort Liezele - just a few of the attractions that enrich the so-called "Land van Stille Waters".

Discover them all during a bike ride or walk along the beautiful dikes and on the way sample delicious regional products such as white asparagus, or a Duvel or a Bornem Tripel.

And you want to thoroughly stretch your legs? Tie your laces tight and step out on the 100 km Bornem Dodentocht (March of the Dead), the sporting highlight of the year!
