Royal Antwerp Golf Club

27 holes
Kempen

Royal Antwerp is home to Belgium's oldest golf club, dating back to 1888. That also makes the club the second oldest in continental Europe. It sports an 18-hole course and a nine-hole course at a stone's throw from Antwerp.

The two-course Tom Simpson Course (18 holes) and the Dormy House Course (9 holes) lie on relatively flat terrain amid the Kapellen woods. An easily walkable course with lots of interesting challenges, such as the strategically placed bunkers and narrow fairways between the trees, it guarantees an attractive round of golf all the year round.

Hole 6 - a PAR 4 of 368 m - was voted one of the 500 most beautiful holes in the world by the prestigious Golf Magazine! The course is also a favourite with many international green fee players. In the cosy halfway hut you can enjoy soup or a sandwich after the ninth hole. And when you've finished your round you’ll have a great time in the restaurant or the bar with its beautiful terrace under the watchful eye of the King and Queen. Royal Antwerp, a classic!

Visit

Royal Antwerp Golf Club is located in Kapellen, a beautiful green town in the Kempen north of the city of Antwerp and close to the valuable Kalmthoutse Heide nature reserve. It is a pleasant place for cycling and walking, and the villa neighbourhoods, exclusive country houses and castles underline the residential character of the area. Part of Antwerp's "northern garden", Kapellen is a stone's throw from the city, and a trip to, or stay in, the city centre is an excellent idea.

Unwind and enjoy the green outskirts, or combine a city trip with a golf break at the oldest golf course in Belgium, the choice is yours!
